Saturday, we went visiting. One of my best friends lives in the house I bought several years ago. Wendy and I have been friends since the 8th grade (can you believe it). We were talking about the fact that it has been about 24 years that we have been friends. Our family and Wendy went to lunch at my favorite restaurant in the world - Superior Bar and Grill. The food is fabulous. Their Queso is the best queso I have ever eaten...nowhere compares... (If you know of a place in Austin you think might rate, let me know!) Here are some pics of Wendy, the girls and me...
We spent Saturday afternoon with the family - especially since it was Teena's 40th birthday! :o) We didn't take many photos. It was definitely an eating day - it always seems to be that way when going to visit family. Teena's family, Mom and Dad, and my family went to eat at Strawn's Too. If you haven't ever been there, they have the best greasy burgers and strawberry pies. Some family members say chocolate pie, but not me...
Erin did not nap at all this afternoon. Cousin Jonah and Cousin Sarah wanted to play way too much for Erin to calm down and go to sleep. Sarah and Erin played in her room with all of Sarah's toys. Erin even played with dolls, which she doesn't usually like to do. Jonah had this really cool rocket game that you jump on the base and the rockets shoot straight up in the air. Erin loved it and giggled and laughed the whole time...
We went to the party for Shane that night (after no nap for Erin). We were really concerned that she would not behave very well for the time, but her cousin Nicholas was there to dance with. Erin loves to dance and they had so much fun dancing around the room. Geoff, Erin and Nicholas were the only ones dancing after the formal dances of the bride and groom, bride and father, etc.
