What a great day. We spent the morning just hanging out around the house. Daddy made breakfast, which is a regular occurrence on Saturdays or special occasions. It could be pancakes or biscuits - all from scratch.
The Pflugerville Pfirecracker Pfestival had fireworks. We took the girls to the festival and walked around. Ruth and Erin played in inflatables and road a really cool train. We thought we would try to make it until the fireworks, but there was NO way. The fireworks ended up not starting until 9:30 PM. The girls were in bed by then. But we shared hot dogs and water. Erin's face was painted with a flag. She loved having her face painted and was more than happy to model it with her new dog - Lucky. At the Pfestival, we talked with a police officer and he gave her Lucky. I was really surprised at how attached she has become to that dog and it has gone with her everywhere...of course, it isn't real...Evidently, we are a cat family.
