Ruth's Birthday Party (Weekend)

Wow - can you believe that Ruth is already one year old? We can't. And she has changed so very much in the past year for sure. She just keeps growing and growing and growing. That is what the doctor says for sure! She is 95th percentile for height and weight. She is 25 pounds of baby Ruth! She continues to walk holding onto furniture, but really loves to crawl because she is so very fast. She seems to understand things more and more and can even shake her head "No" if she doesn't want to eat something we are trying to give her. Her first word was "ba-pa" for back pack, but hasn't really said that lately. Her favorite thing to say right now is "Dada" when she sees Geoff. Ruth's birthday party was so much fun. Ruth got to eat her first sugar ever and had several faces to make about it!

What a great weekend we had for Ruth's birthday. We had Grammy and PeePaw (Geoff's parents) and Grand and Grandma (my parents) come for the birthday party. My parents brought cousin Sarah to celebrate Ruth's birthday. It has been a couple of months since Sarah got to see Erin and Ruth, so she was SO excited about coming here.

After the party (and naptime), we opened a few of Ruth's presents. She wanted to play with everything she was receiving, so we didn't get very far. She loves her first computer and will poke and prod it all the time. She also loves her first purse because she loves to take things out of it and put things into it. She is so very funny!

The cute fall outfits that we had posted a little earlier this month got pulled out again since Cousin Sarah has the same outfit. All 3 girls just looked way to precious together in their matching outfits.
