Ruth is Crawling!!!

Well, "baby Ruth" has been rocking back and forth for days and days. She'll get on her knees and belly flop. No more - she is now crawling full force! Oh My Gosh! She went from not being able to move anywhere to moving everywhere. She'll even pull up if she can get somewhere that is tall enough for her. We've barracaded the living room off so she cannot "escape" to roam the whole house. When we open the gate, she starts crawling away at lightning speed, squealing with delight.

I opened the gate and sat at the edge of the couch. Ruth crawled through the opening and stopped, sat up and looked at me. When she saw me, she grinned a big, mostly toothless grin and then popped back onto her knees and took off. She just squealed and squealed as she crawled towards the kitchen. She gets distracted by electrical outlets frequently, so we have proofed the house - especially the areas she crawls in frequently. You may notice there are little curls hanging on the side of her hair. Her hair has gotten increasingly more wavy as she has gotten older. She may end up with curly hair like big sister.
